It all started in the National parks of the United States where people starting seeing mysterious things. There are tales of people seeing aliens, odd animals and other scary things. Many people have reported stairs in the woods here.

As per the description, people have seen stairs coming out of the land and taking up to the sky. These stairs are mostly seen at night. It looks real as if it is built there. There is no other structure surrounding these stairs, they are placed alone in the woods as if Heaven is inviting us to take the steps and go up.

How do these stairs look?

Strange part of the steps is that they are free from any dust. In forest, who is going to clean them but still no dirt or animal debris is seen on it. This makes it even more frightening. 

The condition of the steps is sometimes good and sometimes ruined; the steps are often made of iron or brick. The shape is sometimes straight and sometimes it is spiral. Many people report to see a shining carpet over the steps. Many storytellers said that they also saw dead bodies and graves near the stairs.

Where are these stairs seen?

Most of the stories have come from the National parks of United States which are quite dense and full of trees; they are quite huge too such that one gets lost while travelling. Also, the people who have witnessed this phenomenon say that it was the night period.

Many stories come from outside America too where similar incident have taken place. Mostly this incident happens deep inside the forest, almost 30-40 kilometres inside the jungle which is quite far away from the boundary. We can think how frightening it would have been for the person who has witnessed this as he might be deep inside the forest and can’t easily come out of it too (Hope he/she was not alone at that time!)

This news came very recently when one staff member of an unnamed United States National Park wrote bizarre stories on Reddit. There were various experiences that he shared about missing person cases in the National park, mysterious noises coming from the dense forest, and among them one was the staircases in the woods.

After reading this post, many people started reacting to it and felt quite surprised and shocked to read such a strange news. People saw the National parks as a place to have fun and refreshing moments in nature’s lap but after reading such an eerie post, these parks started to look mysterious and frightening.

Other staff members also started confirming this news with their own experience of witnessing such an incident.

Are these stairs paranormal?

It is certainly believed that these steps are paranormal as who will come to built them so deep in the forest and also what is the purpose of building it over here. It might be possible that these stairs are built during old days but again seeing their brand-new condition and free from debris look, one can certainly believe that this is not something natural.

People who have witnessed them say that it was a terrible feeling, everyone just runs away from it after seeing it. One brave staff member tried to take the steps and went to the top.

As per his experience, everything was normal until he reached the top where he couldn’t hear anything as everything got silent so he quickly stepped down to the bottom.

One other report says that one person saw a dark face staring from behind the trees and suddenly the face disappeared, he then quickly stepped down to the bottom. Hope he is safe now!
